About Rossland

It's hard to describe a town of such authentic character. Think Jackson Hole - about 50 years ago. Recently named by National Geographic Adventure as one of the "10 Great Adventure Towns to Live and Play" in North America, Rossland is a mountain community with the full array of recreational pursuits, and a surprisingly unpackaged integrity. Rossland is a safe place to live, and offers unprecedented cultural and community values for children. To find out more, visit Rossland's website at www.tourismrossland.com.

Red Mountain Resort
Red Mountain Resort has long been known as one of Canada's most respected resort destinations. In fact, Skiing Magazine recently placed Red 13th among North American resorts - among the top three percent. Red's legendary skiing offers beginner slopes to steeps to treed chutes, all a mere 5 minutes from Rossland. The facilities are undergoing renovation for an even better skier/boarder experience. Black Jack Ski Club

The Black Jack Cross Country Ski Club is a nonprofit society with over 700 members.  Their mission is to build a community of Nordic skiers by providing and sustaining excellence in programs and services.

Black Jack has been incorporated as a non-profit society since 1983 and is considered one of the premier cross-country ski facilities in western Canada due to excellent grooming, a variety of trails, abundant reliable snowfall, and convenience of proximity to Rossland.  Black Jack has hosted many large high-profile races, from NorAm Canada Cups to the Canadian Masters Championship.
